This is my dad windsurfing! Windsurfing is basically all physics. The velocity increases as the board is pushed by the waves' force and the sail is pushed by the wind's force. The velocity increases as you sail down the wave. The acceleration increases as you continue down the wave because the board is moving forward and the change in velocity is positive.
I like windsurfing (even though i don't do it much) and it all depends on how you use the physics!!

Journal 1

This is a picture of Landon and Gavin on a swing when me and my freinds went to the park. They begin on the ground (with their knees up to their chest ;)) and then pull back to gain potential energy. Once off the ground, the velocity increases as they swing higher. When the maximum height is reached, they move backwards with increasing acceleration and increasing velocity. Once at the original position, the acceleration begins to decrease as they swing backwards. If this motion was deamonstrated on a velocity graph, it would have a positive slope ( forward direction, positive velocity) and then at its peak it would change to a negative slope (backwards direction with increasing velocity due to gravitational pull). This will then change to a negative slope because they go in a backwards direction but use the force exerted from their legs to increase velocity. Finally they will be moving in a forward direction with increasing velocity which creates a positive slope.
